GCr6 GCr6 bearing steel Standard: GB / T 1299-1985 


 Features and Scope: Measuring & Cutting Tool steel, this steel composition GCr6 bearing steel equivalent hardenability, hardness and wear resistance than the high carbon tool steel, heat treatment size will not change much. Widely used as a measuring tool, such as templates, card board, sample sets, gauge, block gauge, ring gauges, thread plug gauge and the like columns, can also be used in the manufacture of wire drawing dies, cold heading die, cold-working die, and low-speed cutting tool too hard materials. 


 Chemical composition: carbon, the C: 0.95 ~ 1.10 Si Si: ≤ 0.40 Mn Mn: ≤ 0.40 sulfur S: ≤ 0.030 P: ≤ 0.030 Chromium Cr: 1.30 ~ 1.65 Nickel Ni: allow the residual content of ≤ 0.25 Copper Cu: Allow the residual content of ≤ 0.30 


 Mechanical Properties: Hardness: Annealed, 229 ~ 179HB, indentation diameter 4.0 ~ 4.5mm; quenching ≥ 62HRC 


 Heat treatment and microstructure specifications: heat treatment specifications: sample quenching 830 ~ 860 ℃, oil cooling. 


 Delivery status: delivery of steel in annealed condition.
